The 'MBGS Approach' replicated in other countries
In February 2014, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) commissioned Chemonics International Inc., which is an international development consulting company, to study the operations and impact of the ‘MBGS approach.’ The objective was to understand whether it would be feasible to roll out the same in countries of the Middle East and North Africa regions on a pilot basis.
USAID is active in the region via the ‘Asia and Middle East Economic Growth Best Practices project (AMEG),’ designed to support USAID missions in implementing innovative economic growth programmes and projects in selected countries.
